Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye is interesting Watford.

L'Equipe says the Hornets will seal a deal to bring the 19-year-old to Vicarage Road from Le Havre in the near future.

The news comes despite the fact Gueye enjoyed only one outing for the French club last term, having made his debut in the 2016/17 campaign.

He is, however, well thought of in his homeland and has been capped at both Under-18 and Under-19 level by France.

Watford are said to be in advanced talks with Le Havre in a deal which would see the Vicarage Road club continue their summer rebuild under Javi Gracia.
