Lazio haven't dropped their interest in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

Off contract in June, Giroud was blocked from a late January move to Lazio by manager Frank Lampard.

Le 10 Sport says the Romans remain keen and have tabled a pre-contract offer to Giroud - which has impressed him.

Inter Milan are also in contact, though there remains the possibility of Giroud, 33, penning a new one-year deal with Chelsea in the coming months.

The World Cup winner started and scored in yesterday's victory over Everton.
