Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is angry being mentioned as part of Spanish football's match-fixing investigation.

Immobile's name was mentioned in leaked wiretapped telephone conversations between two people arrested as part of the Operation Oikos investigation.

“Criticise me however you like as a footballer but wash your mouth out before talking about me as man," he wrote on Instagram.

“There are moments in life that must be faced and not endured. There are moments when you have to act and not sleep.

“There are moments when you have to shout who you are and not let anyone tell you who you are."
