Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has admitted regret over his time with Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund.

This season, Immobile has scored 26 goals and is leading the race for European Golden Boot.

But his time with Liverpool boss Klopp at BVB was anything but successful and he conceded: "Our roads were crossed at the wrong times of our careers in Dortmund. I wish he had seen my true self, the real Ciro.

"However, we managed to win the German Super Cup.

"Today I am in Lazio and feel proud of how people talk about Lazio. We enjoy it. We are a family chasing a dream."
