Lazio president Claudio Lotito has suggested a one-off play-off to decide the Scudetto winner.
With confusion continuing over when - or if - Serie A will resume amid the coronavirus concern, Lotito insists the season needs to be properly settled.
Lotito told La Repubblica: "The play-offs to assign the title? We are one point away from Juventus and only for Juventus-Inter that ... Have you seen it?
"For fairness, a team like Inter which has 8 points less than us or Atalanta who is at -14, tell me if they should be involved?
"A one-off game yes, I would accept it.
"I challenge Juventus, we decide the Scudetto in a single game."
Lotito also turned on clubs calling for the season to be abandoned.
He added: "Not everyone works in the interest of the system, we risk sending it to the bottom. Some clubs are preparing a shared document to expose the actual risks they run.
"Football resumes, I say this against my interests. We are already in the Champions League and would save four months' salaries. I think for the system."
