Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo is fed-up with government restrictions on football.
Due to the coronavirus, individual sports such as tennis and swimming can resume training on May 4, but football must wait until at least the 18th of next month.
“Lazio have 5/6 pitches to train on and we can distance ourselves without being close," Parolo told Lazio Style Radio.
“The protocols that are currently being examined concern the whole squad, but even individual training at your own facilities must be allowed.
“The new decree penalises us. Perhaps someone doesn't want the season to resume.
“So people can go to the park while I can't go running to Formello? All professional sportspeople must be treated in the same way.
“I'm the first person to cheer for Italian athletes in world competitions and I agree they must resume training, but so must footballers, at least with regards to training sessions.
“After that, we're not the ones to decide on the season."
