Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson believes they've underperformed so far this season.
The Romans sit comfortably in the top four of Serie A under coach Maurizio Sarri.
But Anderson says: "The break is a bit peculiar, but we knew about it and we prepared for this rest period. We made the most of this rest period because now we start again and we must have all the motivation and all the freshness in our legs to return to the best possible condition.
"We had the goal of staying high in the standings before the break, we are sorry that we missed a few games because we could have been even higher.
"In the second half we will have to recover some lost points, we have to push all the way to reach our goals."
