Lazio are hoping to sign Arsenal defender Calum Chambers for a cut price fee.

The 24-year-old has struggled to show his worth for the Gunners since signing from Southampton in 2014.

Chambers did impressed on loan for Fulham last season, which means that Lazio are interested in signing him.

According to Il Messaggero in Rome, the Italian outfit see Chambers as an ideal signing for a lower fee of around £12.5 million.

Arsenal would be happy to sell as it would add to their summer transfer kitty, especially if Chambers is not in the plans of boss Unai Emery.
