Mauro Zarate is demanding a contract release from Lazio so to sign for Argentina's Velez Sarsfield.

The striker has started legal action to have his contract rescinded.

"My brother could terminate his contract with Lazio," Roly Zarate told TycSports in Argentina.

"Mauro wants to go back to Argentina and Velez would be ideal."
