Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has extended his contract to 2021.

Inzaghi has delivered two fifth-place finishes in Serie A and a Coppa Italia in his three years at the helm.

He had been linked with the vacancies at AC Milan and Juventus.

“S.S. Lazio announce they have renewed and extended the contract of Mr. Simone Inzaghi until 30/06/2021," read a club statement.

“The decision to continue this journey together is the result of shared planning, strengthens the bond between the two parties and certifies the unity of intent needed to achieve the sporting objectives we have set out."
