Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi was left satisfied after their 0-0 draw at home with AC Milan in the first-leg of their Coppa Italia semifinal.
Inzaghi says the result leaves them in a good place for their trip to Milan.
“We were only missing a goal, but the lads put in a great performance, were always very focused against Milan, the form team in Serie A right now," Inzaghi told Rai Sport.
“We allowed Milan nothing, not even a save for a corner, but the regrets are that we didn't manage to score. At least if we were to draw at home, 0-0 was the best result."
Lazio now go into Saturday's crucial Serie A Derby della Capitale with arch rivals Roma.
“We know that we've got less time to prepare than Roma, but we'll try to prepare as best we can. I think with this tenacity and concentration, we'll have a good derby."
