Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi insists they didn't deserve defeat to Juventus.
An Emre Can own goal had Lazio 1-0 ahead.
However, substitute Joao Cancelo scored the equaliser and then earned the penalty converted by Cristiano Ronaldo for a 2-1 Juve win.
“This season I don't recall in Italy or Europe seeing Juventus struggle that much. We had nine shots on target to three, so many corners. Football is cruel, we did not deserve defeat, but if we continue playing like that, we'll make our fans happy," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
“I hugged all my players one by one at the final whistle, because they put in a fantastic performance. The only negative was the result.
“If you don't get the second goal against Juve, you will pay for it. We tried everything, goal-line clearances, great Wojciech Szczesny saves.
“The lads worked so hard, chased everyone down starting from the strikers to the defenders. Juve only made us go deep occasionally and never really forced Thomas Strakosha into a save.
“It was a great performance and I am above all sad for them, because they didn't deserve to lose. I don't remember a Strakosha save."
