Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri was delighted after their 1-0 derby win against Roma.
Mattia Zaccagni struck the winner after Roger Ibanez's dismissal for Roma. Bryan Cristante and Lazio's Adam Marusic also saw red in injury-time following a scuffle.
“The derby is a special game. We can feel is not just any match. The victory gives great satisfaction to our fans and it's important," Sarri told DAZN.
“We are doing well, but there is a month and a half left, so we must continue.
“Lotito told us that we must try, not that it's a target we can't miss. We are trying but we know some teams are better equipped on paper.
“We had lows in European games, but in Serie A we have a minimum of consistency."
On Zaccagni, Sarri said: “I consider Zaccagni and Casale as two strong players, but I am happy if they don't get a call-up (by Italy).
“They've played a game every three, or four days, so now they can rest a little. Resting and training will be good for them."
