Lazio coach Inzaghi on Udinese stalemate: Remember our overall season

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi couldn't fault the effort of his players after their 0-0 draw with Udinese.

Inzaghi insists their current form slump shouldn't take away from their season.

“We tried everything, especially in the first half. We got tired after the break and could've done better, as Kevin Lasagna and Stefano Okaka were always dangerous on the counter," the coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“Rodrigo De Paul's shot hit the post in stoppages, that was a scare, but we should've won this game. Nonetheless, we are close to getting Lazio into the Champions League for the first time since 1997 and we need to keep going to achieve that.

“We had a rough time after the restart with injuries, but take nothing away from these lads. They still won the Italian Super Cup, got back to challenging for the Scudetto until 10 games from the end and I couldn't ask for much more."
