Lazio coach Inzaghi delighted to see off Pescara

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with victory over Pescara.

The Romans were comfortable 3-0 winners thanks to second half goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Stefan Radu and Ciro Immobile.

“We prepared for this game in the best way, so the lads deserve credit. We should've gone in front a lot earlier, but between the woodwork and (Albano) Bizzarri, the ball didn't want to go in," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.

Felipe Anderson did a wonderful job. He showed how well he can fulfil this role and provided the assist for one of the goals too.

“We were without our captain (Lucas Biglia), but I am happy that Danilo Cataldi and Milinkovic-Savic proved in training that I could count on them.

“We saw that in previous games Pescara tended to play very well against teams using 4-3-3. We took a risk with 3-5-2, as we had Senad Lulic and Anderson on the wings in very attacking roles, but the experience of Marco Parolo helped with the movements and timing, allowing Anderson to rest a little.

“I saw Filip Djordjevic do really well during training this week and it would've been unfair to leave him or Immobile out, so we worked this system with both of them and got a deserved victory."
