Lazio sports chief Igli Tare has jumped into the Bosman battle for Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.
Lallana's current deal expires in June and talks over a new agreement with the Reds is yet to commence.
As such, his representatives are fielding interest from several Premier League rivals. West Ham United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Leicester City are all in contact.
However, Corriere dello Sport says Tare has also registered Lazio's interest with intermediaries.
And Lazio have an advantage in the battle, as they can formally secure Lallana to pre-contract terms, while Premier League clubs must wait until the player is out of contract in June before making their move.
