Lazio chief Igli Tare: Italian government making fun of us; don't do a France!

Lazio sports chief Igli Tare has hit out at the Italian government over their treatment of football.

Serie A clubs are becoming fed-up with the confusion generated by government officials as they seek to resume the season as the coronavirus suspension is eased.

Tare snapped: “I can't think that Mr. Spadafora (Minister of Sport) is so irresponsible that he does it on purpose.

"Certainly there are governments in Europe that want to help football like Germany, Spain, England. In Italy this is not the case, nor in France where they have blocked everything definitively.

"The French government will lose many civil cases with the clubs. Let's avoid a summer in court. They are making fun of us with these ridiculous complications."
