Sunderland face competition from Lazio in the race to sign Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj, according to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Januzaj has reportedly been made available for a transfer by United manager Jose Mourinho this summer and the young Belgian has been strongly touted to reunite with former manager David Moyes at Sunderland.

However, the Black Cats will not find it easy to land the services of Januzaj as it has now been revealed that Serie A outfit Lazio are considering a move for the 21-year-old.

It is understood that United want a fee of around £10million for Januzaj if he were to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis.
