Lazio attacker Keita Balde Diao wants to play for Spain.

Keita, formerly of Barcelona, has turned down an approach from Senegal to keep himself open to being capped by Spain.

"I spoke to his club and they let me know Keita has chosen Spain," explained Senegal manager Alain Giresse.

"He was born in that country, so it is normal he has made this decision to play for Spain."
