Laurent Koscielny made a successful playing return for Arsenal's U23 team last night.
The Frenchman returned to action for Arsenal's Under-23 side after almost seven months on the sidelines.
Koscielny, 33, played 45 minutes during the devastating 5-0 defeat to Derby County on Monday evening.
He has been unavailable since he suffered a serious Achilles injury during a clash against Atletico Madrid in May.
Koscielny saw plenty of the ball in the first half and made a number of probing passes - but Arsenal's skipper was replaced at the break by Jordi Osei-Tutu, who was also making his return from injury.
