Former Holland international Bart Latuheru is full of praise for ex-Manchester United utility Daley Blind.

Blind is Ajax's record transfer and was outstanding in midfield for the 5-0 win over AZ.

"Daley played a strong game. He is a boy with experience, who showed that he can bring something extra," Latuheru told De Telegraaf.

"In my view, this is the best position for Daley. I do not think he is a pure defender. He is sometimes vulnerable in this position, especially against stronger opponents. You saw that for example in the top match against PSV. But as he played today, he is of great added value for Ajax.

"He scattered the pitch with a few beautiful passes, was decisive and created the goal well. That was the icing on the cake after a good match."
