Las Palmas have won promotion back to the Primera Division.
Las Palmas have returned to Spain's first division after a 2-0 win, with goals from Roque Mesa (33rd min) and Araujo (84th), turned around Real Zaragoza's 3-1 lead from last Wednesday's first-leg game at La Rosaleda.
Paco Herrera's Las Palmas side put in a great performance, controlling the game from start to finish, and having made the play-offs for three straight seasons, they ended thirteen years away from Spain's top flight (eleven in Segunda A and two in Segunda B).
Zaragoza, who barely carved out two clear goalscoring chances in the first half, both in the space of a minute, will spend a third straight season in the second tier of Spanish football.
