Las Palmas have moved to upgrade Alberto Moleiro's contract with an increased buyout clause.

Las Palmas are pushing to agree new terms with the midfielder amid interest from Barcelona.

Eighteen months after successfully signing Pedri from Las Palmas, Barca are now keen to bring Moleiro to La Masia.

Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez has confirmed plans for new contract talks with Moleiro, with his current deal running to 2023.

"It would triple the release clause," Ramirez explained, which would see the option jump to €30m.
