Las Palmas coach Pepe Mel can't believe the doubts around Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

Messi has seen the details of his current contract leaked to the public, with it being revealed he will earn over €555m for the length of the deal when it expires in June.

But Mel insists: "A person who generates so much, it is logical that what he generates is also given back to him.

"Barça is a club that receives so many things because of Messi. He has been at the club for so many years, how many tourist excursions by Japanese and Chinese people to Barcelona just to see him?

"I don't think that everything that is happening affects him because I think he may've already made his decision."
