Larsson still has friends at the club he left as a 22-year-old, most notably Gael Clichy, himself the subjected of much transfer speculation.
The Swede, 26, said: "I'm talking to a couple of the Arsenal players still. In particular, Clichy.
"Of course I have also talked to my advisor. For every day that passes, I will get closer to a decision but it is also no stress to me. The most important thing is to get to a place that is a good next step in my career. It is the goal. It may take a week or a few weeks before it is finished.
"I do not have full control of the situation and would rather not go into exactly what clubs the case of the moment. But I have not learned so much about Liverpool. What I can say."
