Victor Valdes is being lined up for a return to Barcelona.

The former goalkeeper left Barca's academy coaching staff last season after falling out with management and some players.

But Mundo Deportivo says Valdes will return if Joan Laporta is elected president on January 14.

After his time with Juvenil A, Valdes took charge of Horta in the Grupo B de la Tercera División, where he has them sitting in third place.

But Valdes' intention is to leave his position as Horta coach this Thursday in order to be available for Laporta's ticket.
