Manuel Lanzini is expected to return to West Ham United for treatment on a minor injury.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder sustained a knee injury in training with the Argentina Olympic team and according to Hammers co-chairman David Gold, will come back to London in a bid to overcome the problem before the new season commences.
In response to a supporter's question regarding the welfare of Lanzini, Gold wrote on Twitter: “Expecting Lanzini to return for treatment. dg"

The injury to Lanzini only compounds another Hammers issue after star left-back Aaron Cresswell suffered what appears to be a serious knee problem in Saturday's pre-season friendly with German 2.Bundesliga club Karlsruher SC.
