Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is set to hold talks with key midfielder N'Golo Kante.
The Frenchman is uncertain about training and playing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Blues are sympathetic to Kante's situation and want to find an amicable way to resolve it.
The Telegraph says Lampard will personally talk with Kante to try and allay some of his fears.
But Chelsea are making it clear they will not pressure the World Cup winner if he is not ready to return.
He will remain on compassionate leave until he is in the right state of mind to resume close contact training with his teammates.
Kante has had health issues in the past, while his brother died of a heart attack a few years ago.
