Derby County boss Frank Lampard hailed goalscorer Mason Mount for Friday's win at Reading.
The on-loan Chelsea midfielder scored on debut for the 2-1 win.
The England youth international, who has been in Chelsea's academy since the age of six, has long drawn comparisons with Lampard because of his dynamic box-to-box play.
At Derby, he will play further forward than he did in Chelsea's youth teams, but that just allows his passing range and shooting ability to shine.
"Mason has great quality and great energy, he's going to get better and better," said Lampard. "He is a midfield player who wants to shift and take shots."
