Lampard, Gerrard in frame for England U21 job

England Under-21 head coach Lee Carsley will consider moving on in the summer.

The FA are considering two national legends as his replacement, should he depart.

Per The Mirror, if Carsley does leave his role with the U21s after their European Championships, the FA will have an important decision on their hands.

They could turn to midfield legends Steven Gerrard or Frank Lampard as his replacement.

Neither have set the world alight as managers, but Gerrard did win the Scottish Premiership with Rangers.

Gerrard last worked at Aston Villa, while Lampard was sacked by Everton this season.
