Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has denied Antonio Rudiger is close to leaving the club.

The German centre-back was not named in the squad to face Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, which the Blues eventually lost on penalties.

It was the fourth consecutive game in which Rudiger has been left out of the matchday squad.

Asked if Rudiger was on his way out, Lampard replied: "No. It's not at that point."

PSG, Tottenham and Barcelona have all been linked with the 27-year-old.
