Callum Hudson-Odoi could remain at Chelsea if they appoint Frank Lampard.
Hudson-Odoi had wanted to leave in January and refused to sign a new contract.
However, an achilles injury impacted any possible move this summer.
Per the Daily Mail, if Lampard gets the job at Chelsea to replace Maurizio Sarri, Hudson-Odoi would have a major role to play when he is fit.
The youngster could even get the no10 shirt vacated by Eden Hazard.
Hudson-Odoi was unhappy at the limited chances he got under Sarri last season, with the Italian often preferring experienced wingers Willian and Pedro.
