Ross Barkley's second-half strike was enough for Chelsea to defeat Leicester City and book their place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
The Blues were poor in the first-half which forced manager Frank Lampard to make three changes at the interval.
One of which was Barkley, who got on the end of Willian's speculative cross to finish with an outstretched boot to beat Kasper Schmeichel after 63 minutes of play.
And speaking after the game, Lampard admitted his side were lucky to win after a sluggish first-half.
"We spoke at half-time and the first half was not what we are used to in terms of performance," said Lampard.
"We lacked intensity. I could have made more, or even different subs for more urgency. It was a lethargic performance from us.
"The second half, there were glimpses of it [our good play] and I am delighted that we came through the tie. If we turn up to other games like we did today though, then no chance. We were lucky today."
Lampard's side will face Manchester United in the semi-final at Wembley on July 19.
