Lallana reaping rewards from constant hard work - Liverpool boss Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that Adam Lallana's return to top form this season has been down to his work ethic.

Lallana has not quite been able to produce his best at Anfield since his big-money move from Southampton during the summer of 2014 but the attacker has enjoyed a fine run of form so far this term and he has arguably been one of Liverpool's best players.

Lallana put in a stunning display during Liverpool's 5-1 victory over Hull City on the weekend and following the game, Klopp has stated that the England international is currently reaping the rewards of his 'hard work' over the past few months.

Klopp said: "It was the best game in terms of counter-pressing that we have played until now.

"Honestly, since I am here Adam is the player you saw against Hull.

"It's not about always performing like this, it's about working attitude, being involved in all the team things in all sessions.

"He likes to train, he likes to work, he was like this from the first day. This is now the credit he takes from the work he did."
