Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana thinks that Philippe Coutinho has staked his claim on free-kick duties for the Reds following his stunner in the 4-3 win over Arsenal.
The Brazilian scored a sublime free-kick in extra-time of the first half to level the score at 1-1 at Emirates Stadium before adding another in the second half with a composed glancing volley to help his side to a season opening win in North London.
"Phil again came up trumps with the free-kick," Lallana told Liverpoolfc.com of Coutinho's set piece abilities.
"We were working on them a couple of days ago – there's just no chance anyone is getting anywhere near a free-kick.
"But we all want him to have them because he can produce that, and I think that's the best I've ever seen him score. It was further out than usual and it was right in the top corner, the 'keeper had no chance."
