Brighton midfielder Adam Lallana is full of praise for former club Liverpool's swoop for ex-Wolves striker Diogo Jota.
Jota struck again in last night's Champions League win over FC Midtjylland.
"The recruitment has been absolutely sensational," Lallana told BT Sport after Liverpool's 2-0 win.
"[Diogo] Jota's proven his worth so far, long may it continue.
"When I first joined Liverpool I tried too hard. It took me between a year and 18 months to settle in - the way Jota's come in straight away is not to be sniffed at."
Ex-Liverpool striker Peter Crouch spoke with a similar sentiment about Liverpool's signings in recent years.
"When you join Liverpool it goes up - everything is magnified," Crouch said.
"The moment you walk through those doors, the weight of history goes over you - all the signings in recent times has been first class."
