Barcelona are expected to immediately loan out Pedri next season.

The midfielder, 17, was snapped up from Las Palmas last summer before being allowed to spend the campaign on-loan with the Segunda Division outfit.

Mundo Deportivo says he will join Barca for preseason, but is expected to again be loaned out - but this time to a Primera club.

Real Sociedad are regarded as favourites for Pedri, though Real Betis and Celta Vigo are also keen.

Abroad, Ajax sports chief and former Barca star Marc Overmars has also asked after Pedri's availability.
