Alexandre Lacazette has labelled his move from Lyon to Arsenal as a dream come true.
The 26-year old completed the switch for an undisclosed fee, which has reportedly surpassed the previous club record fee of £42.5m paid for Mesut Ozil.
Lacazette hopes to follow in the footsteps of his compatriots Theirry Henry, Sylvian Wiltord and Robert Pires, in having excelled with the Gunners.
"I am, of course, delighted and very proud too because Arsenal is a legendary club," Lacazette told the club's website.
"Throughout my childhood, thanks to Thierry Henry and other French players, I always dreamed of playing for this club so today that dream has been fulfilled.
