Alexandre Lacazette is delighted Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has penned new terms.

Aubameyang's signing was announced in a live chat on social media for Arsenal, with thousands of fans watching on.

Among them was Lacazette, who enjoys a strong bond with Aubameyang on and off the pitch.

And seemingly in a slight dig at the length of time, it has taken Aubameyang to make a decision, Lacazette wrote: "I can go to sleep now."

Since his arrival in January 2018 from German side Borussia Dortmund, Aubameyang has scored 72 goals in 111 appearances, marking himself out as one of European football's elite forwards.
