La Liga has signed a deal with the country's national rail operator Renfe to show all of its domestic league games, as well as major Uefa Champions League and Europa League matches on its high-speed AVE trains for the 2019/20 season, reports www.sportspromedia.com/.
The matches will be made available on board through the train's multimedia content platform PlayRenfe across all the rail company's main lines, which link major cities including Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga, Seville and Zaragoza.
Full programme listings of the three competitions have been made available on both parties' official websites.
Additionally, Renfe plans to make games available on its low-cost trains, currently in development, when they become operational in April 2020.
The deal also sees Renfe become the official transport of La Liga for the new season. As such, it will offer special travel offers to fans and receive brand exposure over the course of the season, as well as promotion through La Liga's digital channels.
