Six players have been nominated for the Emirates Airways MLS Player of the Month award for April.
LA Galaxy captain Robbie Keane appeared in three MLS matches in the second month of the 2014 season, scoring in all three matches, which saw the 2011 and 2012 champions win twice and draw once.
Clint Dempsey was on fire for the Seattle Sounders in April, scoring a treble and a brace to notch seven goals in four matches, racing to the top of the MLS Golden Boot chart.
New York Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips was in top form, netting four goals, including a hat-trick while DC United defender Bobby Boswell was part of a defence which conceded just two goals in four outings.
And finally, DC's Fabian Espindola scored three goals and produced three assists as the Washington club picked up three wins and a draw in April.
