Los Angeles Galaxy are drawing up a massive contract offer for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. The Mirror says Gerrard will be offered £20million to join booming MLS in America.
He is expected to follow in the footsteps of David Beckham and move to LA Galaxy after making "the toughest decision of my life" and deciding to quit Liverpool.
Galaxy have been watching developments since November, when it first emerged the Anfield legend could leave the club, and need a big name to replace the retired Landon Donovan.
The Los Angeles club paid Beckham over £100,000-a-week and would be prepared to offer Gerrard the same salary on a four-year deal.
