LA Galaxy captain Keane turns attention to Republic of Ireland's Euro clash with Scotland

LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane was relieved to have gotten through a full 90 minutes unscathed on the weekend.

The 34-year old striker made his first MLS start in two months in the 1-0 home loss to Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday and is now looking ahead to next weekend's Euro2016 qualifier.

Keane's Republic of Ireland meet Scotland in a crucial fixture in Dublin and the country's all-time leading scorer is determined to play a part.

"Felt it toward the end, obviously. But, thankfully, I got through," said Keane after the match on the weekend.

"It's a massive game," he added. "The atmosphere's going to be great.

"Scotland's the same [kind of intense rival as is England]. It's a massive game for us, and a game we need to get something out of."
