Kyle Walker fighting to keep Man City spot

Kyle Walker is refusing to give up on his place in the Manchester City starting line up.

The arrival of Joao Cancelo, a £60 million purchase for the right back slot, has put Walker's future in doubt.

But the English star, who signed a new contract in the summer, is not willing to give up his starting berth.

Walker does have an advantage over Cancelo, as he can also play centre-back.

The Sun says Cancelo is seen by boss Pep Guardiola as one to play in the Champions League for City.

But the paper suggests that Walker is in no mood to lose his place in the team.

Apart from a desire to play, Walker knows that he must start regularly for City to retain his England place.
