Liverpool hero Dirk Kuyt has praised his old club over the coronavirus suspension.
The Reds could miss out on a first Premier League title in 30 years if the season is abandoned.
But Kuyt, now a Feyenoord youth coach, wrote for De Telegraaf: "I find it admirable how Liverpool handles the current situation. They could hardly miss the league title. The plan to complete the Premier League like a World Cup in a closed area of London is very interesting.
"But no matter how great the craving after thirty years without a championship, you don't hear anyone claiming it.
"Everything is secondary to public health and the experts' choices are respected."
