Krystian Bielik admits Arsenal move is on

Arsenal are closing a deal for Legia Warsaw midfielder Krystian Bielik.

The Daily Star says Bielik has yet to confirm the switch from Legia to Arsenal but he told Polish news source Legionisci that he hopes to be a "positive figure" under Wenger.

When asked about moving to England, he is quoted saying: "I confess that I'm a little bit afraid. Only a madman would have no concerns about it.

"However, you have to be confident, and I'm sure in myself and my abilities.

"I'm not saying that I expect to be in the Arsenal starting XI, but I would like to be an important and positive figure in the eyes of coach Wenger."

The Gunners are set to sign Bielik for £1.6m and have offered the teenager £2,000-a-week to join.
