Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos says Bayern Munich defender David Alaba will be welcomed by the dressing room.

Kroos has made clear that the Austrian defender would bring a lot of quality to Los Blancos.

Kroos himself made the move from Bayern Munich to the Spanish capital in 2014, and he achieved success in the Champions League playing alongside Alaba in Bavaria.

"If he is a starter at Bayern Munich, then he surely brings the necessary quality to also play for Real Madrid," Kroos explained in an interview with Sky.

"The problem is that I haven't played with him for almost seven years.

"It's difficult for me to know what he thinks about [where he wants to go]."
