Arsenal chief Josh Kroenke sought out manager Mikel Arteta at the end of yesterday's 3-0 home thumping by Brighton.
The result effectively ended Arsenal's title hopes after a dramatic slide over the past two months.
Arteta was visibly upset after the defeat and was seen in the company of Kroenke and LA Rams coach Sean McVay, who were both in attendance at Emirates stadium.
The Evening Standard says the Kroenkes have full faith in the manager despite conceding an eight point gap to be left on the brink of a second placed finish.
Kroenke will be meeting with Arteta and technical chief Edu this week to outline plans for the summer market as they return to the Champions League for the first time in seven years.
