Kroenke increases stake in Arsenal

Stan Kroenke has again raised his stake in Arsenal.

Kroenke requires 62 more shares to trigger a mandatory takeover bid of Arsenal.

The American billionaire today purchased another ten shares in Arsenal's parent holding company, take his holding to just short of the 30 per cent threshold beyond which he would be forced to make an offer for the remaining shares under the City Takeover Code.

Other major shareholders are Alisher Usmanov, the Uzbeki tycoon who holds around a 25 per cent stake, Danny Fiszman, and Lady Bracewell-Smith, with the rest held by small shareholders.
