January arrival Kristjan Gauti Emilsson continues to impress for Liverpool U18s.

Emilsson struck the winner against Manchester United last month and he was on target again as Rodolfo Borrell's side deservedly defeated Manchester City yesterday.

Stephen Sama netted the other goal as Borrell's side bounced back from their youth cup exit at the hands of Watford.

Back in September City had beaten a young Liverpool side 6-2 in Kirkby, but it was a totally different story on Saturday.
